So this idea was born during a conversation Natalie and I were having a conversation about our careers/passions. Nat is a culinary artist. Her food is awesome. Seriously. We decided we needed to create a joint venture. Natalie cooked up four brightly colored fruit concoctions. Think jam, but runnier and with big pieces of fruit. Then we added some pretty faces (Nat included) and got sticky.
These were shot on a seamless paper backdrop from Pictureline (http://www.pictureline.com/superior-thistle-53-x12-yds-seamless-background-paper.html) which was extremely handy when it came to clean up! Just tear off the mess and throw it away!
I used two strobes with white reflecting umbrellas to light this and shot it with my beloved Nikon d700.>
