as mentioned in a previous blog sesh, i had the chance to shoot with one of the most smiley babies i've ever met. due to mother natures vendetta against me, it took a few attempts to make this happen, but it was worth the wait! we did the shoot up provo canyon in the pretty fall leaves.

this next one is a review to you if you're loyal to my blog. but i like it that much.

blog savvy folks, please help.
i hate the layout of my blog. why are my pics so small? i upload them with the 'large' option selected. my column is wide enough. some one please educate me. i've seen all of your cute layouts and am beginning to feel inferior.

if you need a good idea for christmas...
my dad and i are starting the 'preserving memories project'. we convert vhs to dvds. this would make an excellent gift to or from parents to kids or vice versa. it will run about $10 per hour of video and also allow simple editing, like menu screens, chapters, etc. i'm building an add campaign for this now so you'll probably see it posted here or sent to your e-mails. let me know if you want in.

happy halloween this week!

family portrait plethora!

Oct 12, 2009 2 comments
its the time of year where people are devoting the space in the back of their minds to witty lines and cute layouts for christmas cards! for me, this means family portraits! here are a few that i've done in the last year. as always, click to enlarge.

the above photo is from a set i shot this week. we got great shots in the colored leaves! expect to see more from this shoot on here later!

prices vary depending how many poses/amount of people/travel. get a basic price layout on my official site www.clandestineimages.com.

i'm getting a new dye sub printer this week. it will be mobile and used mostly for event photography (sporting events, holiday get-togethers, etc). basically, i can shoot and transmit photos wirelessly to a computer. from the computer, photos can be displayed on a monitor and customers can pick the photo they would like and get it printed on the spot in under a minute. i'm SO excited. so if you know of any events i could get in on, let me know!

jack's six month pics.

little people are intimidating. i jump around like an idiot trying to make em smile and they just stare at me with those big eyes as if to ask, 'why are you jumping around like an idiot?' luckily for me, he's incredibly cute, smile or not. i know there's a lot of pics in this post, i had a really hard time narrowing down which ones to post.

the last one is my favorite. so i shoot babys now! getting well rounded ;).

Tis' the season!

This month as kept me busy! Almost every day I have off from GameStop, I'm out taking photos! In honor of the holidays, here are a few fun shots....

The handsome Patrick boys are getting this layout framed as a Christmas gift for their mother. The "blah"s will be filled in with a letter/poem of some sort that the boys are working on.

This shoot was hilarious. Kynslie showed up with a christmas duck mug, a sewing with nancy book, and some very strong prescription glasses she purchased from D.I. We shot in/around my new place. I love living here. In case you haven't been here yet, the back yard has a lot of trees, there is some beautiful rock work done around the yard, and an old shed that make great back drops for photos.

And this is the Lyman brothers, my cousins (kinda). This pic is also a Christmas present for mom. The pic was shot near the River woods mall in Provo.

I've got a few more family portraits booked this month. My work schedule is kinda of ridiculous this time of year, but I do have a few more openings if anyone needs any last minute Christmas card photos taken. If you have a photo already and are interested in a custom layout, get in touch with me. I'd be happy too.

On another note.... I'm job hunting. Time to attempt to grow up a little and find a job that will pay me for my degree. Sigh. If only I could live off photography.... If anyone knows of anything let me know. Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas!
