if your not fortunate enough to be on this gals christmas card list, you are missing out. this is the 2nd annual card i've had the opportunity to help kyns out with. where she finds adult footy pj's is beyond me. here's what we came up with this year:

halloween at forum hair school.

the forum accademia is located in american fork, utah. this year they held a halloween themed fashion show in pleasant grove. each student worked their hair and make-up skills on a model, and the model strutted their stuff on a runway in front of family and friends.
as soon as the models got off the runway they came to visit me! my team and i had a printer available where models/stylists could purchase 8x10 or 5x7 prints on the spot. we shot 30+ models, as well as a few family groups that attended the event. here are a few examples of the cool looks i saw that night...

if all goes well, i will be scheduling another shoot with forum in december to help the girls build their portfolios.
its been a VERY busy week for me! i shot 2 weddings, 2 receptions, an open house, runway show, and kynslie's annual clever christmas cards. i worked the midnight release of assassins creed 2 and left for dead 2, and fit in a weekend trip to vegas! so this week i'll be close to my computer getting all the touch ups done this week. lots more to come.
thanksgiving in wayne county with the family this weekend. happy holidays everyone!

tatt-day goes shout-out.

so.
this one started with me and a few days filled with absolutely nothing. a couple pals of mine have recently gotten new ink. so to keep my aim sharp and my trigger finger steady i invited them over to stand in front of my lights in my oh so professional studio/laundry room. so here are my friends.
(friends if you're reading: come over and i'll give ya the rest. thanks again.)

trapt: a photo story. lol.

i spend too much time on the internet... so i was blog stalking and i stumbled across a photographer that would post a series of photos to tell a story. when i tried to find it again today i couldn't, but when i do i'll post his site cause its really worth looking at.
anyway.
i was day dreaming in the shower (which is where all my good ideas come from) and came up with this concept. The models name is rush. enjoy.

rush: you did great. thanks for posing for me! your a doll.
sid: thanks for letting me spill milk on your kitchen floor. :)
landon: your not the best supervisor/assistant, but i'm glad you came. and good job on that game off fifa you were playing during our shoot.

it was good to shoot something from my own brain today. i've been doing a lot of 'work' and less play with my camera. definitely not complaining. i love my job. shooting sean bessey tomorrow in exchange for chinese buffet. YAY!

thanks for reading.

snow's volleyball team at sunset

Sep 24, 2009 3 comments
i shot snow college's volleyball team to use for promotional work. the girls were really fun to work with and were patient with my lack of experience with volleyball.... i explained to them, "i cheered in high school, I have no idea how to speak volleyball lingo..." they gave me a hard time for a sec. but all in all things turned out great!

this is the cover for the media guide sold at games. the seam falls in the middle so the right half is the front cover and the left is the back. It's actually a combination of two different photos...

this is the entire photo that was merged into the media guide shot to create the back cover:

keep an eye out for these around sanpete county! let me know if you see one! its just a poster with the games schedule.

taking down the net:

(excuse the large watermarks on some of those. gals gotta protect her self.)

zombie walk 2009!!!

Aug 18, 2009 2 comments
so zombies are a little off the subject of photography... but i have pics that must be shared. a small group of survivors, including myself, survived slc's 2nd annual zombie outbreak!

documented as follows:

vince and paige took refuge in a tree, just out of reach of the mindless, blood thirsty beasts.

Hang on simba! i mean vin-dawg! this is the very moment vince realized i'm way been better at coming up with zombie plans than he is. pwnd.

The next three are complete strangers. but you have to admit they look great.

Innocent civilian gets infected. watch out for him, he's one of them now.

Lucky for us, we have zombie hunters like dallin around.

needless to say, i barely got out alive....

a day our with the ladies...
